Alright. So I stopped posting my daily food journal for two reasons. One because I was pretty much eating about the same thing every day and it was getting too repetitive . Two because I started cheating here and there and it wasn't actually eating vegan. I was a bit sad that I didn't make it a week, but I began running out of food and my pockets weren't quite full enough for another shopping trip.
I will post more food if I make/eat anything that is particularly interesting. Also, I wanted to kind of run down how things seem to work for me. In the morning, I generally stock on fruit and for lunch I mostly eat veggies. Dinner I eat most of the good stuff carbs and protein and usually more veggies as well. I try to get as much of all three as I can in each meal. I have found that mixing carrots in with smoothies is good. Mostly because with the fruit you can't taste them much and I'm not the biggest carrot fan. If I eat a salad for lunch I tend to put nuts and seeds on for fats and proteins and eat a fruit on the side. Rice and black beans have been my friends for dinners, they never get old for me. For snacks, I've been having a lot of celery or apples with peanut butter or almond butter. Which is yummy and sweet. If I really have a sweet tooth I'll eat some of the vegan chocolate morsels mixed with nuts and seeds in a sort of homemade trail mix. Also, I haven't been drinking much alcohol, not that I do usually anyway. Just some wine here and there.
HOWEVER! I never ate more than one non-vegan meal a day AND I was even more successful with not drinking soda. Even more exciting I have some results. I've lost a couple pounds so far. So, that's exciting. Slowly but surely is okay with me.
